August 7, 2015 - Cranial Sacral Update, Did It!

Adelynn had her cranial sacral appointment yesterday. Joan, the PT, said her head is perfect! She said that everything is symmetrical and located where it should be and was so happy. Our appointment wasn't even the full 30 minutes and now we just have to go back in 4 weeks to get checked (we were previously going every other week). This just makes us so happy, I can not even explain how happy! We are so happy that we went this route opposed to the helmet because the helmet would have not fixed the areas that Joan was able to, it mostly would have helped with the flat area in the back, which has already improved.

Yesterday we heard Adelynn saying "did it!" I forget what she was doing, but it was after she completing the task, she said it. We've heard it a few more times since then.

Whenever she sees a dog on the street, or hears a dog barking she yells out "dahhh, dahh, dahh." She loves dogs (not so much when they get close to her though)!

I've caught her holding Bryanna's animals or dinosaurs a few times and trying to make a rawr sound - obviously copying her big sis!

We have been getting into a good routine during bedtime with reading books and singing songs. The second she finishes her bottle she says, "buh, buh"...we figured out she was saying book. She loves books now and loves to flip through them. I will sit on the bed and give adelynn a little board book to look through while I read a big girl book to Bry.

She has been down to one bottle for a few weeks now. We are trying to get rid of the formula, so we are mixing half whole milk with formula, and of course thickening it. It makes me sad thinking that she is my last baby and therefore I need to come to terms that I won't have a baby to bottle feed anymore. Scott was doing the bed feeding for a while now, which I have taken over so I can get my last fix before we stop with the bottle.

When she starts grabbing her shirt and pulling it up, you know she is tired and ready for bed.

I miss getting to watch her sleep

Helping Daddy fix the deck.
