August 30, 2015 - Mystic Aquarium

We decided on a last minute family trip to the aquarium. It's been a couple of years since we have been here and thought it would be a fun thing to do...and we would be in the air conditioning which was a plus since it was 90 and humid today. 

Both girls LOVED it! Bryanna walked around pointing to everything "look Mommy, look Daddy!!!" Just very excited to see animals since she is obsessed. Adelynn loved looking at the fish and bright colors, pointing at different fish. 

And Daddy got to pet a shark...totally shark obsessed!

Adelynn was looking up at the stingray exhibit and one swam really fast in front of her. It scared her half to death, she was crying so hard she couldn't breath. I felt so bad for her, but she got over it pretty quickly.

August 29, 2015 - Block Party

We hosted a block party this year. We thought it would be a good idea to get all the neighbors together and have some fun! It was a great success and everyone thanked us and want to make it an annual event. The firemen come with a truck and allowed the kids inside and gave them hats. One woman was almost in tears telling me how she met both of her neighbors and she has been there for 9 years!

August 23, 2015 - Grandma & Grandpa Visit

It was so nice that Grandma & Grandpa came to visit this weekend...we were able to go out for our 7th Anniversary and they helped out tremendously with our yard sale! They took the kids in the pool and went for nice walks with the puppies - it was so nice seeing the cousins together!

August 8, 2015 - Peach Picking @ Lyman Orchards

We had a nice family day at Lyman Orchards this weekend. First we ate at the Apple Barrel, then did some peach picking. We searched and searched and could only find hard peaches then we came across some nice and juicy ones...yay! Adelynn and Bryanna loved them! Then we went back to the Apple Barrel for some fresh fruit and veggie shopping and fed the ducks and fish afterwards.
