March 21, 2016 - Snow In Spring!

Bryanna had a 90 minute delay today because of the snow. We decided to take advantage and build our first snowman (we had such a mild winter and didn't get the chance over winter).

March 20, 2016 - Spring!, Pictures, Full Sentences

What a way to kick off this spring...it was 35 degrees today! Bryanna and I had to brave the elements and sell Girl Scout cookies for 3hrs today! Probably not the best decision since we both have the cold allergy (cold urticaria). We did sell a lot of cookies though! Adelynn stayed home and had fun with vacuuming with Daddy. What an exciting spring day! 

She has been putting 3-5 words together. The most recent is, "Play Bry other room," "Show Bry milk," "Daddy, unbuckle me now," and "Daddy, all done milk."

This is the first time I've seen this! She was picking when nose, holding out her finger and telling me there was a boogie on the end of it and wanted me to wipe it. 

Helping Daddy put a table together. She wants to be just like her big sister and try and help Daddy. Anything Bry does, she wants to do or have done to her. She wants her back rubbed at night now because Bry wants hers rubbed.

March 19, 2016 - More Elmo, Riding Bike

The Elmo obsession has progressed. You can't hum or sing any of the songs from the Best of Elmo 2 DVD or else you better put it on now for her! She doesn't like the first one because it doesn't have the robot, which is her favorite part. She says Wobot now instead of Bobot. She walks around saying "do the robot, do do the robot" (this is part of a song from the DVD). She also loves the "I've got a new way to walk" by Destinys child which she will sing "walk walk" and the Elmo riding bike song where she sings, "ride bike." 

There is a Jack Black skit that she hates! When I say hates, I mean the skit before Jack Black comes on, she starts crying. I make sure to turn it off at that point, but when it made to Jack Black she would start screaming and crying. This literally came out of nowhere. The first time it happened I was in a different room and thought she hurt herself! 

She believes that her Little Tikes cozy coupe car is a bike. Bryanna will ride her bike and Adelynn will sit in that and say she is riding bike. She also thinks riding in the radio flyer wagon is a bike too. LOL!!!

March 11, 2016 - Grandma and Grandpa Wetzel Visit

We had a nice visit this weekend. Bryanna and Adelynn had fun doing crafts, drawing with Grandma and watching a new movie (The Good Dinosaur). Scott and I were able to go out for St. Patrick's Day, which hasn't happened in a long time! 

March 2, 2016 - Elmo Obsessed, Two Words Combined

Adelynn likes Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse but she LOVES Elmo! We have been watching it a lot lately and so the songs get stuck in our heads. I will find myself singing them and she will start singing them with me and yell Elmo! There is one song by Destinys Child, "walk walk," so we will sing that together and she will say the walk walk part. It's really the first show that she will sit and watch for an extended period of time. 

Whenever she is asking for something and we repeat it to confirm to her that we understand what she is saying, she says "mmm hmm,"  It's the cutest thing! You have cold feet? "mmm hmm." You're hungry? "mmm hmm"

Everything she does she wants to "show Mommy." (With a lateral lisp). She brushes her teeth, takes a bath, gets her clothes on..."show Mommy." She will say "show Daddy" sometimes...for example she was so proud of me for going pee on the potty that she wanted to "show Daddy."

She has been putting two words together quite frequently. Some of these are:

-I try

-ride bike, Bry (when she wants to ride bike with Bry)

-Hazel (Hathol) eat (when hazel is eating her treats)

-Hazel, where are you (ah you)
