October 31, 2015 - Happy Halloween!, Grandma & Grandpa Wetzel Visit, Molar

We had a nice visit with Grandma & Grandpa Wetzel. They were so nice and came to watch Adelynn and Bryanna so that Scott and I could go to the Miami Dolphins game. They made crafts with the kids and played games.

We went trick or treating a little later this year. It was so different compared to any other year. There were so many kids on the street and we knew almost all the homeowners (all thanks to our Block Party). It was so much fun and Bryanna got a ton of candy! Adelynn stole some too.

We noticed Adelynns bottom right molar has come in. I had no clue it was even growing. I knew she was teething because she always had one finger in her mouth on the side, so it make sense...but it was a surprise!

October 28, 2015 - Pumpkin Carving

It's been a pretty busy week so we finally got around to carving out pumpkins! We did Bry's a couple of days ago and finished Adelynns today. Bryanna drew hers all by herself! Look at the stems on those things!

October 27, 2015 - Walking, My Gym, Friends

Adelynns is pretty much walking everywhere now. She walks more than she crawls and doesn't like holding your hand anymore - independent girl! She will walk into the kitchen, take a wide turn, come back into the living room and over to the door, turn around and head back into the kitchen. She still falls a lot and sometimes tries to walk too fast, but she is doing awesome!

Here are some different pictures on different days at her gym. She really LOVES it. Her favorite thing is to look for the big balls and also the red steps (Bryanna used to love them as well). She likes to hold onto the handles and climb up and down the steps. She isn't a huge fan of the ball pit though, which is funny considering she loves balls!

Some fun at the park with friends.

October 25, 2015 - Walking More, Sitting At The Table

Adelynn has been walking a lot on her own and without us asking her to. We will turn around and just see her standing there. We went to Toys R Us today and she was walking all over the store. Crawling is still the fastest way for her but she is getting there! Great job Addy poo!

We moved Adelynn to the table today. She wants to do everything that Bryanna does, so we felt she was ready. I've tried putting her in the highchair and she wants nothing to do with it now that she got a taste of being a big girl!

I think this face is because she just finished her pancakes and so she was still hungry or she was waiting for her pancakes to be cooked so we put the cereal on her plate. Either way, she didn't want that cereal! LOL

She started saying cookie (keykey).

They are playing so well together here! Typicall, Adelynn is trying to take something away from Bryanna or Bryanna doesn't want Adelynn to be playing with her toys...I'm so proud of my girls right here!

October 22, 2015 - Teeth, Two words, Hospital Bear

Adelynn now has 4 teeth on the top (two are just poking through now, and her 4 bottom teeth. She has been teething pretty bad the past couple of days, so hopefully she gets some relief soon!

The words I've heard her say together are "Hi Dada," "Hi Nana," "Baby Out" and "A Drink." She tries so hard to say juice, but at least we know what she is saying! She also says pumpkin every time she sees a pumpkin (puh-puh). She saw bubbles for the first time at her gym and she learned how to say bubble (buh-bal).

She is really great at following directions. If you tell her to go put her shoes on, she goes over to the basket and opens it and get them out. Sometimes when she knows we are going to leave she does it by herself. I just asked her to put a book back while we were reading and she grabbed and, turned around and put it back.

She received this bear the night we went to the hospital when she was sick. She loves it!

October 18, 2015 - Grandpa & Grandma Batz Visit, Saying No

Adelynn has been shaking her head no for a long time now, but she just recently started saying no along with that. It's so cute and funny...she isn't going along with the flow as much as she used to and isn't afraid to say no!

"Do you want a banana?" - No!
"Do you want to give Bryanna a hug and kiss" No!

We had a nice visit with Grandma and Grandpa. Adelynn got to go to Hibatchi for the first time. We should have learned our lesson when we took Bryanna when she was about 18 months old...Adelynn did NOT like the fire. Other than that, she was fine, she was just very aware of her surroundings.

October 12, 2015 - Swallow Study Update, Spoon & Cup, Silly Girl

Adelynn had her second swallow study done on October 15th. She was nervous and cried at first, but I got her to swallow some thin liquids. It showed that the majority of the time she was fine and only once in a while did it go down the wrong way. When it went down the wrong way, it was only a tiny amount, so the doctor says she is fine drinking only thin liquids (which is what we have been doing for a while now). She only chokes occasionally… Overall she's doing great with it! We are so so so so happy! Adelynn is doing great!

We've also been practicing using a cup, and a spoon, which she is having fun with and making a mess! She has also become such a picky eater! She likes things with flavor (no bland veggies). Her favorite thing to eat is a peanut butter sandwich!

She still holds the drink in her mouth for a little while before she swallows. She doesn't do this every time and I can't see a pattern. I believe it's what the doctor said and she has adapted to learn how to swallow without choking.

My silly girl! Adelynn is such a silly, funny, goofy little girl and I love it! One funny thing that she does is she whips her head around so fast! If she hears a noise behind her, she whips it around...or you can just sit back and watch her play or do a task and she just whips it around, its hilarious!

Looking out the door and looking for Dada (it wasn't even close to the time for him to be home but she heard something outside and got excited that it was him).
